Who is Jesus? - Audio

Big Idea - What is the source of Jesus' wisdom and power and why does it matter? Is it really all that important to have the right theology about Jesu, to understand accurately who He is and where He came from? No one can dispute His miracles. It is far beyond what any normal person could do. So, this power and wisdom must come from somewhere else. Having the right understanding of who Jesus is and where He came from is everything. It is the beginning and basis of true faith. Those who failed to understand Jesus’ divine source of power, as one sent from God, could not believe Him or follow Him, they could not walk the path of a disciple. Only those who really understand who Jesus is are able to believe and have faith to see Him work His miracles in their lives and to follow Him as a disciple. Jesus follows a similar path to John the Baptist, He is a prophet and they preach the same message. Jesus will even face a similar ending to John's. But, Jesus is so much more than a Prophet, and His death is of infinitely greater significance.
