Who is Jesus?

Who is Jesus? Genesis 1 teaches us that Jesus is the Word of God made manifest. The Word ofGod created everything. In Genesis 1, God is present, and the Holy Spirit is present, but where isthe Son? The Son is the Word.Jesus is fully God and fully man. Jesus is the exact imprint of God’s nature (Hebrews 1:2-3). Jesuswas there in the beginning (John 1:1-5 & Genesis 1:26). Jesus’ humanity was displayed in the gardenof Gethsemane (Matthew 26:36-46). The trinity of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, is not peripheralto our faith, it is the center of our faith. This is the power of the triune God. Our God is not like everyother god. His triune nature sets Him apart.
