Who Is Jesus?
from This Is Our God Hosted by Michelle Pinneo
Who is Jesus, and where was He before He was born? In Episode 1 of This Is Our God, kids open the Bible to discover who Jesus is and why He came. We’ll travel back before creation, visit Bethlehem, climb into a stormy boat with Jesus and His disciples, discover how much Jesus loves children, and learn about His rescue mission, the cross, and the empty tomb. But kids won’t just listen. They’ll answer questions, imagine themselves inside the story, play Freeze the Story and Finish It, and learn John 3:16 piece by piece through Build Our Verse. By the end, kids will remember three important truths: Jesus is God’s Son. Jesus came to rescue us. Jesus is alive! Then comes the challenge: Teach It Back! Encourage your child to tell someone what they learned and see how much of John 3:16 they can remember and share. Perfect for elementary-age kids, family discipleship, homeschool, car rides, bedtime, or anytime you want to make learning the Bible fun. Memory Verse: John 3:16 NIV Bible Passages: John 1, John 3:16, Mark 4:35–41, Mark 10:13–16, and the Gospel accounts of Jesus’ death and resurrection. Learn it. Remember it. Teach it back.
