He reminds them that they are part of a chosen people, a holy nation, and a royal priesthood (1 Peter 2:9) and urges them to "rejoice insofar as you share Christ's sufferings, that you may also rejoice and be glad when his glory is revealed" (1 Peter 4:13).The letter of 1 Peter resonates with believers even today as it offers reassurance, guidance, and hope during times of trials and difficulties. Its message encourages Christians to find strength in their identity as God's chosen people, to trust in God's faithfulness, and to persevere with hope in the ultimate victory found in Jesus Christ.In the same way that Peter encouraged the early church, I encourage you to set your hope fully in Christ, emphasizing the word “fully”.Have you ever felt hopeless in life? Trapped? Holding on by a thread? Suffocating under your burdens?If we aren't careful, our pain can become our purpose. The challenges you face have the potential to fuel your determination and drive. Embrace your pain, learn from it, and let it ignite your passion to make a difference in your life.
