Who is Jesus? | How Jesus Sees Sin

Mark 9:42-50 I remember adding a little "0" beside a "1" on a coupon to extend its expiry date. "I’m not lying – I’m simply adapting." We tend to downplay sin, but Jesus does not. He sees sin for what it truly is – a serious threat to our spiritual well-being and our relationship with God. Arriving at the end of Mark 9, we come across some of Jesus' most striking and visceral teachings, which serve as a profound wake-up call. Jesus addresses the severe dangers of sin, particularly self-righteousness, pride, and misleading others, and invites us to adopt His way of submission, self-denial, and servanthood.
