That kind of list might be interesting, but it dodges the only question that actually reaches your heart: who do you say Jesus Christ is?We trace Jesus and the disciples from a confrontation with Pharisees and Sadducees who demand a “sign from heaven” to a warning that still feels painfully current: beware the leaven of false teaching. Jesus refuses to play proof-games with cynical hearts and points instead to the “sign of Jonah,” a clear line to the resurrection. Then, on a boat with barely any bread, the disciples misunderstand His warning, giving us a real-world picture of how easy it is to miss spiritual truth when we’re stuck in surface-level thinking.From there we explore the two-stage healing at Bethsaida and what it can teach us about trusting God when His work is gradual or mysterious.
