Who Is Praying?

from Open House Church Sermons · host Tony Van Drimmelen

Persistent prayer can feel rude, especially when God already knows every need. Jesus tells His disciples to keep asking boldly, like a child tugging at a father's sleeve. That persistence makes sense only within a family. Through faith in Christ, believers are adopted as God's children and may come without pretence, while still honouring His majesty. Their Father is not a reluctant neighbour, genie, or employer, but gives what is truly best so His children can keep praying with trust. Bible Reference: Luke 11:1–13 Preacher: Tony Van Drimmelen
