Growing up Bev became interested in Journalism and PR after spending many hours reading newspapers and magazines at her family newsagents in Chorlton, Manchester. She went on to work for Paragon Golin Harris, London; a brief stint at Cosmopolitan Magazine; the Manchester Evening News and Channel M TV. She's since taken on a vast range of senior consultancy roles in the public sector and motivates and mentors teams to do their best communications work. She offers a 'Push Your Own PR' programme for those who need to learn PR skills for small businesses. She says: "It's about bringing this expert skill and advice to start-ups because that's when they desperately need this type of help. We've made it accessible and affordable and flexible so that small businesses can get ahead."
