In his Easter 6 sermon Glynn Cardy examines the difference between illness and disease and the challenge being healed presents. "In Monty Python’s The Life of Brian, a clever parody of the Gospel, there is a sketch where a man approaches Brian yelling out: “Alms for an ex-leper.” Brian inquires about the ‘ex’ bit.
