Join me on an episode exploring the occult connections to the infamous unsolved murder mystery of 1943 where four boys found a womans body inside a hollowed out wych elm tree in Hagley Woods, Worcestershire. In this episode we are looking at the case itself, the Hand of Glory, two grimoires connected to the tradition of the Hand of Glory, Margaret Murray who was sometimes referred to as the grandmother of Wicca and her interpretation of the possible occult elements of the case, alongside traditions and folklore surrounding witches, bodies and burial within trees.
