Whole Foods recalling products with jalapeños due to salmonella outbreak

from KYW Newsradio Audio On-Demand

Whole Foods is joining other retailers in recalling some products containing jalapeños that could be linked to the salmonella outbreak that's spread to dozens of states. Certain salsas and dips containing jalapeños sourced from Coast Citrus Distributors are being pulled from shelves. The recall doesn't affect any stores in our area. The products were sold in Whole Foods in 12 states in the Midwest and the South. A full list of recalled products due to the salmonella outbreak can be found on the FDA's website.
