September 25, 2022The first two sections of Hebrews establish the supremacy of Jesus Christ as our King (ch.’s 1-4) and our great High Priest (ch.’s 5-10:18). As we close the Priestly section, the author of Hebrews presents the truth that Christ’s perfect sacrifice for sin has forever secured the redemption and sanctification of believers. We have been set apart as holy before God that we would live wholly devoted lives in our motives and actions. Holiness calls us to wholeness.
