Whoopie Pie Fest Returns This Weekend | Montpelier News

Get ready for the fifth annual Whoopie Pie Fest in downtown Rutland this Saturday — a sweet, family-friendly explosion of baked goodness, entertainment, and community spirit. From noon to four PM, explore Center Street and Merchants Row where bakers from across New England compete for top honors in creative and people’s choice categories. Enjoy free admission, $1 tasting tickets, food trucks, vendors, and kid-focused fun including a Mini Maker’s Market and a magician. Don’t miss the quirky Whoopie Pie Mile (where runners eat four mini pies) or the Kid’s Dash — all proceeds support youth programs. Plus, they’re defending their world record for the largest whoopie pie (over 1,100 lbs!). It’s the ultimate sweet celebration with heart.
