The 18th round of the Trans-Pacific Partnership Agreement began this week in Kota Kinabalu. Malaysia, along with 11 other countries, is part of the trade negotiations. The TTPA has drawn criticism from many quarters including the former PM Dr Mahathir. Yesterday, a coalition of NGOs, together with Parti Socialis Malaysia, protested at Parliament. Tomorrow, the Malay Economic Action Council has plans to protest at Ministry of International Trade and Industry.
