Who's Bees?

“Who’s Bees?” is a self-imposed creative experiment turned into a fully realized electronic track. Built at 125 BPM with a palette of drums, synth bass, piano, synth xylophone, and synth strings, the song was created under a series of strict timeboxes, forcing every production decision to happen within a limited window. To push the challenge even further, the composition was based on a randomly chosen scale outside of my usual musical comfort zone. Instead of chasing perfection, the goal was to explore what could emerge by embracing constraints and making the most of the tools already at hand. The title came unexpectedly. When I played the finished track to the person closest to me for the first time, her spontaneous reaction was: “Who’s Bees?” That unfiltered moment perfectly captured the playful, curious spirit of the project—and the name stuck.
