A coach can help you reach your greatest potential. But there is only one coach that can guide you to the best life, and He is Jesus. In this week’s message, Ps Monty shares how you can let Jesus be your coach so you can live the great life He has planned for you.--------------------------WHO’S COACHING YOU?Ephesians 4:11-12 NLTNow these are the gifts Christ gave to the church: the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, and the pastors and teachers. (12) Their responsibility is to equip God’s people to do his work and build up the church, the body of Christ. John 4:13-14 NLTJesus answered, “Everyone who drinks this water will be thirsty again, (14) but whoever drinks the water I give them will never thirst. Indeed, the water I give them will become in them a spring of water welling up to eternal life.”Matthew 16:21-26 NLTFrom then on Jesus began to tell his disciples plainly that it was necessary for him to go to Jerusalem, and that he would suffer many terrible things at the hands of the elders, the leading priests, and the teachers of religious law. He would be killed, but on the third day he would be raised from the dead. (22) But Peter took him aside and began to reprimand him for saying such things. “Heaven forbid, Lord,” he said. “This will never happen to you!” (23) Jesus turned to Peter and said, “Get away from me, Satan! You are a dangerous trap to me. You are seeing things merely from a human point of view, not from God’s.” (24) Then Jesus said to his disciples, “If any of you wants to be my follower, you must give up your own way, take up your cross, and follow me. (25) If you try to hang on to your life, you will lose it. But if you give up your life for my sake, you will save it. (26) And what do you benefit if you gain the whole world but lose your own soul? Is anything worth more than your soul?FOLLOWER OR FAN?HIS WORD 2 Timothy 3:16-17 NLTAll Scripture is inspired by God and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives. It corrects us when we are wrong and teaches us to do what is right. He will not speak on his own but will tell you what he has heard.
