Whose your Daddy with Jake and Josh Wolf
from So Funny it Hurts Hosted by Mikalah Gordon
There's nothing quite like the bond between father and son, especially when both share a passion for comedy and Disneyland. My son, Jacob, and I have navigated through the highs and lows of parenthood, with plenty of hilarious stories to tell along the way, from strategically skipping mile-long queues at Disneyland, to the heartwarming tales of our experiences fostering animals. As a comedian, I've found the stage to be a powerful tool in confronting personal fears and expressing creativity. Inspired by my jazz musician father's decision to return to school in his 70s, I share how I began my journey in comedy, along with the invaluable lessons about adaptation I've learned from my fiancee. We also talk about the impact of social media and the internet on comedy, and how it's helping young comedians like Matt Reif propel their careers, while also giving rise to unique challenges. In the third segment, we touch on more serious topics, discussing the fears and struggles that come with balancing family life and a demanding career. We engage in an open conversation about forgiveness, sharing personal experiences of understanding and accepting our parents. We also share some memorable moments from our Reno show residency, and the humorous discoveries we've made along the way. Whether you're a parent, a comedian, or a Disneyland enthusiast, join us for an entertaining mix of humor, life lessons, and heartwarming stories.
