why?

from The Silent Podcast · host Austin Weatherspoon

The real reason behind this podcast.. I wanted to keep this to myself, but I think you should know now… It's not about me... It's about you. My goal is to shift people’s perspective on silence and stillness… Now the world is being forced to be still. During this time of social distancing and self-isolation, people are having the hardest time being alone with themselves.. These emotional meltdowns disguised as TikTok dances are getting harder and harder to watch. This podcast is literally unbearable for some people to listen to and I knew that when I started… Some view silence and stillness as unproductive, pointless, boring, or negative. If you’re one of those people, chances are you need to acknowledge the reason why you feel that way. Whether you listen to the podcast or not, I strongly encourage you to spend some time with yourself and take a look inward. You may find that what you’re seeking externally is actually within you. There’s no better time than now to acknowledge what you hear in the silence. Dive into those uncomfortable places and grow from them. Use this time to create a better you… One that you’re not afraid to be alone with. May something beautiful grow from your solitude. Peace, Love, and Silence. www.instagram.com/thesilentpodcast
