Why A Past Relationship In A Current One?

I still can't wrap my head around the fucking idea of constantly bringing up your past relationships into your current relationship. Enjoy the partner that's with you today as he/she is with you today. It's like bringing up the other people (e.g. friends; coworkers) except relatives that aren't in your life anymore. Just worry about the people are currently in your life. Bringing up memories of your late loving grandma is one thing but bringing up memories of your exes is some annoying ass shit as they're not the ones loving you in your current relationship. Your grandma was a very special person in your life who passed onto the next life. Enjoy and appreciate what you have today as it will not be here forever.
