Why am I still unhappy?

from Children of Divorce · host Lydia Nathenson

Hi everyone, in this episode, I speak about my real life experience with depression and how it affects me. Somedays look like this unfortunately - I don’t have the answers, nor do I have even the slightest clue what I am doing. I’m just trying to document my emotions, because boy are they testing me. My mental health will probably be the largest challenge I face on my time on this earth. Never is there a day where I do not question my purpose, my meaning, or why am I alive. I try to accept that, and the fact that life doesn’t exist without struggle. But when the struggle feels constant, I feel my determination fading. But we are resilient, and there is meaning behind this pain. There is. And I’m determined to find it. And I won’t stop until I do. I hope you join me in fighting, I hope you join me in my journey on this earth, I’m happy to have you. I see you. I see your struggle. Just keep walking.
