Why and How to Kill Your Sin

The sermon emphasizes that when someone becomes a Christian, it is like a death and resurrection - their old sinful life dies and they are reborn in Christ with a new identity and purpose. Christians are called to vigorously resist sinful desires and actions, including sexual immorality, greed, anger, and slander. They should do this not to earn salvation, but because they already have grace through Christ's finished work. The goal is to put on Christ's virtues and become more like Him. Our identity is now found in Christ alone.
