Why are Christians protesting ICE?

Why are some Christians protesting ICE—and is that response actually rooted in Scripture? In this episode, Pastor Doug steps back from emotional reactions and examines what the Bible teaches about authority, obedience, conscience, and the Christian’s role in public life. Rather than following cultural pressure or political trends, this conversation challenges believers to think carefully about how faith shapes our actions and where the church’s mission truly lies. Discussion Questions: What does Scripture teach about the Christian relationship to governing authorities? How can believers discern when action is faithful obedience versus cultural reaction? What is the church’s primary calling, and how can it remain focused on that mission in politically charged times?
