In Matthew 4:23-5:1, we see two groups around Jesus: the crowd that followed for miracles and provision, and the committed disciples who climbed the mountain for deeper relationship. Crisis Christianity keeps us in a transactional relationship with God, treating Him like a vending machine rather than pursuing genuine fellowship. True transformation happens when we move beyond our comfort zones and seek God with our whole heart. The question isn't whether we're following Jesus, but why we're following Him.
