Why are you suffering? On Purpose or For Purpose by Guest Speaker: Lamar Riddick 2 Timothy 2: 1-7 Mar. 10, 2023 BIG IDEA: You have to posture your heart so God can position you. Serve and endure for the sake of the Gospel. Be disciplined not just only in your actions but be disciplined in turning to the face of Jesus during suffering. We voluntarily suffer to please God. The result is sharing the reward. Jesus suffered in order to give us access to the grace that we are strengthened by. Remember his suffering during our suffering. Don't suffer for no reason. Suffer for the sake of the Gospel which won't return void. EDGE Student Ministries
