Why Black America wants those flags, & statues removed | The Daily Read w/ Marcus Gentry

from The Daily Read w/ Marcus Gentry · host Marcus Gentry

The U.S. has been through a conditioning since the civil war a long and  slow grind in rewriting our bloody civil war history. In this rewriting  men and women in the south have been spreading half truths and lies  about the civil war being about states rights which plays good in the  eyes of many Americans today who fear and mistrust government. These  states rights where the right to keep other human beings in slavery! That's where the confederate battle flag and statues come in the  picture, they have been slowly getting America used to seeing a traitors  flag on the back of trucks on tee shirts, many years after the civil  war statues where erected everywhere as if the confederate army actually  one! America needs and shall push back against this for the good and safety  of this country from the hordes of racist Bigots that live among us.  Take those flags and statues down and put them in museums if your that  concerned about your heritage that way the rest of America can move past  that stain on our history!
