What this episode covers
Join Our Community Here: https://www.lifeintransition.online/ What do you do when your entire life blows up in a single moment? Angel Howard was two and a half months pregnant when she walked in on her husband dancing naked with another woman. By every measure, it was the kind of moment that would send most people straight into blame — toward the husband, toward the other woman, toward the circumstances that led there. Angel went the other direction entirely. She got curious. Not immediately, and not easily. But the question she asked herself in the aftermath wasn't who did this to me. It was what is inside of me that attracted this experience — and what is it here to teach me? That single shift in orientation — from blame to curiosity — became the foundation of everything Angel has built since. She's now a somatic therapist, author, and coach who works with people navigating the messiest moments of their lives. Her core belief is simple and completely counter to how most people are taught to handle pain. The body holds everything. And until you stop running from what's in it, nothing actually changes. In this conversation Art and Angel go deep on what somatic work actually is, why the body knows things the mind refuses to acknowledge, how unprocessed pain gets passed down through families without anyone meaning to pass it on, and what it looks like to stop being at war with your own experience and start getting curious about it instead.
