This week, Tom West joins The SavvyCast to share about his cattle business, River West Cattle. Tom shares how he got into the cattle business as well as how he gets meat from the farm to consumers. Today, the herd has grown to close to 100 mama cows and three registered bulls, which they raise on approximately 500 fertile acres of mixed pasture and forest bordering the Coosa River. They have also grown as cattle farmers and have learned how to best care for their cattle while producing delicious and healthy products for human consumption.
