Why Care About The Church? | God's Army

This week we continue our series Why Care About the Church with a message from Pastor Dede Vigil titled “God’s Army.” Rooted in passages such as Matthew 16:18, 2 Corinthians 10:3–5, Ephesians 6:10–18, 1 Peter 5:8, John 10:10, and 2 Thessalonians 3:3, this message explores the church as a people formed and organized by God for His purposes. Though the church is not called to physical battle, Scripture reveals that we are engaged in spiritual warfare—standing firm in truth, resisting the enemy, and advancing the mission of Christ. In this message, we look at what it means to move from spectators to participants: fighting against evil, rescuing the lost, healing the brokenhearted, and standing together in unity as agents of reconciliation in the world.
