Why Christmas, Pt 1 - When Gabe Met Mary

The Christmas story begins with the angel Gabriel visiting teenage Mary to announce she would give birth to the Savior. Mary's response reveals the heart of true faith - trusting God's plan even when it seems impossible. The virgin birth was essential because Jesus needed to be both fully human and fully divine to serve as our perfect, sinless Savior. Unlike the first Adam who brought sin into the world, Jesus lived as the perfect second Adam, offering His righteousness to cover our sins. When Gabriel told Mary that nothing is impossible with God, he revealed a fundamental truth about our Creator's power to accomplish the miraculous in our lives today. This is part 1 in the series "Why Christmas" by Pastor Chuck Tilton.[Recorded 2025-12-07]Don’t forget to subscribe to this podcast.
