Classical music has been around for centuries, but in a rapidly changing world, many arts organizations are asking an important question how do we keep the music meaningful, engaging, and relevant for today's audiences? At the Fort Collins Symphony, that's something we think about every day as we work to connect our community with live music and create experiences that resonate across generations. Today, we're delighted to be interviewing Andrew Arceci to explore what it means to make classical music relevant today. Andrew is a performer, scholar, composer and educator who has delivered lectures, master classes and workshops at the Juilliard School, the University of Oxford and Berklee College of Music, as well as serving as a visiting fellow at Harvard. Andrews, also the founder of the Winchendon Music Festival, a free, community based festival that brings world class artists and scholars into a small town setting in Massachusetts.Support the show
