Why Conservatives Aren’t Really Conservative | 7/25/22

from Conservative Review with Daniel Horowitz · host Blaze Podcast Network

Today, we have an uncomfortable family discussion about needing to fix our own tent. We complain that Republicans don’t properly represent conservatives, but perhaps that’s because we ourselves don’t really live the life of a conservative to the core. I use the issue of “gay marriage,” which is now completely OK with most famous conservatives, as an example to show how, while we claim to fight the Left, we have become worn down and have adopted their values. This stems from not having fixed, transcendent beliefs that are divorced from wherever the Democrats are at a given moment. Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices
