Why did Jesus say that the kingdom of heaven is a mystery?

11-21-2021 Weekly Message Meditation of the Week: Psalm 91:1-16 Text: Matthew 13:9-17 Sermon Title: Why did Jesus say that the kingdom of heaven is a mystery?         Jesus said that the kingdom of heaven is a mystery because it is a very important one that will result in tremendous loss of life  if we do not understand the kingdom of heaven that will come upon the land of Israel at the time of Jesus, as well as the millennial kingdom that Jesus will establish at the end of the great tribulation. Also, this heavenly mystery is hidden like a secret from those who have no ears to hear. As to why this is hidden from them, Jesus said: “For this people’s heart is waxed gross, and their ears are dull of hearing, and their eyes they have closed; lest at any time they should see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and should understand with their heart, and should be converted, and I should heal them..” (Matthew 13:15)          Jesus knew in advance that the Jews would become dull of heart and would persecute and kill him without realizing that he would build the kingdom of heaven on the land of Israel. Jesus prophesied of this: “And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffereth violence, and the violent take it by force.” (Matthew 11:12).         The first kingdom of heaven, where Adam reigned in the Garden of Eden, was also seized with violence by Satan the devil, but it is a prophecy that the kingdom of heaven established by Jesus, who came as the last Adam, will also be seized with violence by Satan the devil.          As Jesus said, from then on, the kingdom of heaven that Jesus would establish as king disappeared from the world. Also, from then on, Satan the Devil has used the principalities and powers and the rulers of the world and evil spirits in high places  to deceive all mankind as if they were building the kingdom of heaven as their own on this earth.          The first kingdom of heaven established on this earth was the Garden of Eden, where God Himself became king and appointed Adam and Eve as administrators. There was no sin, no curses, and no death. It was the heaven that brought the kingdom of heaven to earth.         But what about the situation of the fake kingdom of heaven, where Satan the devil and his followers set up this world and deceived it as heaven after killing the king Jesus and taking the kingdom of heaven of Jesus with violence? It is not the kingdom of heaven, but a fake one full of sin, death, and curses. Also, the rulers set up by Satan the devil in the world became dictators, and have created their own educational, political, cultural, social, and economic systems to make people trapped in those systems, preventing them from enjoying any freedom or happiness if they do not adapt to those systems. It is making them live as slaves for the rest of their lives.          Like a driver who whips a running horse and commands that people run for the rest of  their life to try to eat the carrot set up right before their eyes, they make the people live like horse chasing for the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life. that is causing them to fall to hell after all.         Satan the Devil, the king of this fake kingdom of heaven, is deceiving even the Christians in the world, using all sorts of tricks to lure people emerging into the church building as if the fake kingdom of heaven they had created is the kingdom of  the heaven that Jesus had built. Jesus told a parable about the fake kingdom of heaven they had created: “Another parable put he forth unto them, saying, The kingdom of heaven is like to a grain of mustard seed, which a man took, and sowed in his field: 32Which indeed is the least of all seeds: but when it is grown, it is the greatest among herbs, and becometh a tree, so that the birds of the air come and lodge in the branches thereof. 33Another parable spake he unto them; The kingdom of heaven is like unto leaven, which a woman took, and hid in three measures of meal, till the whole was leavened.” (Matt 13:31-33).          These two parables of the kingdom of heaven are speaking to the Christian world that is united with the world without witnessing the truth of God disguising  the church of God. When Jesus spoke of leaven, he said it is the false doctrine of the hypocrite Pharisees: “‘ Then Jesus said unto them, Take heed and beware of the leaven of the Pharisees and of the Sadducees. 7And they reasoned among themselves, saying, It is because we have taken no bread. 8Which when Jesus perceived, he said unto them, O ye of little faith, why reason ye among yourselves, because ye have brought no bread? 9Do ye not yet understand, neither remember the five loaves of the five thousand, and how many baskets ye took up? 10Neither the seven loaves of the four thousand, and how many baskets ye took up? 11How is it that ye do not understand that I spake it not to you concerning bread, that ye should beware of the leaven of the Pharisees and of the Sadducees? 12Then understood they how that he bade them not beware of the leaven of bread, but of the doctrine of the Pharisees and of the Sadducees.” (Matthew 16:6-12).          That’s right! The above two parables are parables of the same content, and they are prophecies about the Christian world of the present generation, where everyone hears the false doctrines deceived by the modern Pharisees and Sadducees in fake Christianity and is deceived as if the increase in head counts of members is a real revival. Instead of preaching the sound doctrines, reproofs, corrections, and instruction in righteousness, Satan’s servants let them follow the lusts of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life making them only care about the food of the flesh and not paying attention to the spiritual food. In the end, instead of serving God, they are resulted in serving material things and make them follow the ruler of the world, the devil.        In this way, people flocked into the church building where the leaven is preached, and many birds made their nests in the place where the greenery became a large tree and the leaves are thick. When Jesus spoke of birds, he referred to them as demons. Thousands of people gather in a large building being called as the church and shout hallelujah, but in God’s eyes they are birds gathering in the mill in search of food, they are spiritually demons in human clothing, and the pastors preaching at the pulpit are wolves in sheep’s clothing.           Jesus spoke of these birds in another parable: ” Again, the kingdom of heaven is like unto a net, that was cast into the sea, and gathered of every kind: 48Which, when it was full, they drew to shore, and sat down, and gathered the good into vessels, but cast the bad away. 49So shall it be at the end of the world: the angels shall come forth, and sever the wicked from among the just, 50And shall cast them into the furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth. 51Jesus saith unto them, Have ye understood all these things? They say unto him, Yea, Lord.‘” (Matthew 13:47-51)           Those who have realized the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven and have done righteousness will receive eternal blessings in the kingdom of Christ, the eternal kingdom of heaven that Jesus is to establish in the future: ” Then shall the righteous shine forth as the sun in the kingdom of their Father. Who hath ears to hear, let him hear.” (Matthew 13:43).         At this time, Christians raptured before the great tribulation shall come down to the earth with the Lord Jesus Christ, and shall reign with Him in the kingdom of Christ: “  If we suffer, we shall also reign with him: if we deny him, he also will deny us:” (2 Timothy 2:12).      At this time, the shining morning with the glory of Zion shall come. Jews and Gentiles who have entered the kingdom of Christ shall glorify the Lord Jesus Christ in Jerusalem with the Church of God, the bride of Christ.  Apostle John and the prophet Enoch testified of the saints coming down to the earth with the Lord Jesus Christ: ”  And the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean.…. And Enoch also, the seventh from Adam, prophesied of these, saying, Behold, the Lord cometh with ten thousands of his saints, 15To execute judgment upon all, and to convince all that are ungodly among them of all their ungodly deeds which they have ungodly committed, and of all their hard speeches which ungodly sinners have spoken against him.” (Rev 19:14, Jude). 1:14-15)         God has made the spiritual kingdom of heaven within the true Christians in the Holy Ghost, and made them have joyful life in righteous, peace and joy(Rom 14:17). This is the kingdom of God that is the only true kingdom of heaven in the earth. Amen! Hallelujah!
