Why did Nine fire Karl Stefanovic?

Last week, Channel Nine dropped Karl Stefanovic, one of its longest-standing TV hosts, over a podcast episode with a British far-right, anti-Islam activist. Stefanovic launched the podcast saying it was going to be “unfiltered and uncensored,” and while that might be the case, that doesn’t mean it is without consequences for his Australian media career.
