Why did the Island see numerous flight cancellations this week?

Despite new operational times at the airport coming into effect from the start of this week, Ronaldsway saw numerous cancellations still. The new times see the runway open around 40 minutes later to allow the facility to remain open till later in the day. Airport Director Gary Cobb says the disruption can't be blamed on just the Isle of Man:
