Why diversity matters with Karen Pflug Have you ever wondered how you could take on a role that you knew not-too-much about and absolutely succeed? Karen Pflug is an incredible person who shared her experience with doing just this.Karen Pflug is the Chief Sustainability Officer at Ingka Group. Ingka Group is the largest IKEA retailer and represents about 90% of IKEA retail sales. It is a strategic partner to develop and innovate the IKEA business and help define common IKEA strategies. Ingka Group owns and operates IKEA sales channels under franchise agreements with Inter IKEA Systems B.V. It has three business areas: IKEA Retail, Ingka Investments and Ingka Centres.Karen Pflug was open and honest about not being prepared for, or even feeling ready to step into the roles she has stepped into throughout her career. She stepped into these roles anyway and has made an incredible success of them.  Karen is an inspiration for a lot of people who want to take on certain roles, but might not feel ready yet.
