TRANSCRIPT · AUTO-GENERATED

So why do I find myself settling for something less? Yesterday we looked at the first two reasons. Number one is ease of comfort. It's convenient.

Madhale. Madhless. The second is acceptance of mediocrity. We're the nei-an, bhasa-denei, lo lo suot-an.

Let's look at the next two. Today. This is the day disturbing swagast with Anthony van Lee-Henen. Why do I sometimes settle number three societal pressure?

Settling is easy due to societal norms. Expectations that encourage us to settle. Other versions of this in society, you know, a society that pressures us to adhere to tradition, even if it no longer works, or an environment that rewards us for getting things done faster, even if inappropriate, illegal, downright corrupt, or simply a community that gives little encouragement or incentive to do what is fair and just and best for all. I'll be honest, I have been tempted to settle because of our society.

If not for the global organizations I was exposed to, through nationalists I apprenticed with international standards that I had to adhere to, and to think now local experts and industry, KOLs, you know, key opinion leaders, I had the privilege to work with. If not for them, the regular environment and communities I grew up in lead towards settling for less. And I know those times. I actually mirror that, follow that in my life.

Finally I sometimes settle or settled because of number four yielding to fear. Settling is easy when people yield to fear because uncertainties or even attacks that can come with pursuing higher aspirations can be scary. Frankly Roosevelt, so first of all let me assert my firm belief that the only thing we have to fear is fear itself, nameless, unreasoning, unjustified terror that paralyzes needed efforts to convert retreat into advance. You know, to me, and to you, fear has its basis.

Given the many times I had to pay the price when I refused to accept mediocrity, starting within me in my own life. You know, God understands. I want to be new with this, that the most frequent assurance in the Bible is that 365 times, like we need it daily. And what is that?

Do not fear. And those three words often come with another five words of even bigger assurance. And I quote, for I am with you. In Christ God is with you and me.

Four reasons I have settled and I sometimes still continue to settle. Again, I asked you what can you identify with? Number one, ease of comfort. E, I want to be got it.

Number two, acceptance of mediocrity. A, number three, societal pressure. S and number four, yielding to fear. Why?

E, A, S, Y, why? Do I find myself settling? It's because it's easy. Tomorrow we remind ourselves of what the consequences are and they are certainly not easy.
