Why do I want 'control' on situations all the time?

This is a snippet from a series called Overcoming me. Love does not feel superior. We have an urge to do things our way...we feel injustice toward us if things don't happen our way. Our self-worth is threatened and our security is compromised. We in our nature must have our way because if it doesn't happen our way we are out of control.
