Why do police hate DnB and the underground scene so much? Do you know? Cos I don't

There is a repeating pattern throughout history of things being pushed underground by the system for no reason other than the people in power's feelings of fear towards the unknown. Whether it be prostitution, LGBTQ+ clubs pre legalisation, or the underground music scene, we have seen time and time again that there is no supply without demand. We have an issue with people in positions of power (who are typically white due to the racial inequalities of our society) looking down on anything that doesn't follow their idea of what is considered 'acceptable or normal.' Just because it makes white, conservative, straight cisgender people with little experience of any other culture uncomfortable, it is not wrong. Regardless of if it takes hundreds of years for behaviours to become normalised, or riots and protests to evoke change, the system is fundamentally flawed at every level.
