from Grace in the Shadows Hosted by Dr. Marla and Dr. Jonathan Behler
Send us Fan Mail Why is it that the wicked often seem to thrive while those who try to live righteously struggle? In this episode, we tackle this puzzle head-on, drawing on the wisdom found in Psalm 73. Adding a splash of fun to our discussion, we also share some unexpected trivia, including the record for the largest gathering of Santa Clauses in Northern Ireland and quirky facts about the African giant snail. Our conversation takes a deeper turn as we wrestle with the trials of faith when observing the success of those who disregard God or live unethically. We explore the concept of spiritual blindness, ponder God's sovereignty, and examine the promise of eternity. These profound contemplations remind us of the importance of trusting in God's plans, even when they seem perplexing. We end our episode with a powerful call to action: to continually fix our eyes on Jesus, not on the fleeting prosperity of the world. With this focus, we can navigate life's challenges, secure in the hope of the eternal kingdom.
