Why do we celebrate Sinterklaas
Nothing say Christmas like an old man who owns slaves, monsters who are half goat, half demon from the underworld, and kids running around in black face, am I right? Wait, What? Yeah, you read it right - black face. You might never have heard of the celebration of Saint Nicholas, or you might be used to getting your favorite Christmas gifts every year on the 5th of December instead of on the 24th. Either way, we´re sure that some of the things we´ve learned in this episode of Rogier and Louise celebrate will surprise you too. I mean, this story has everything - questionable generosity, sustainable traveling, bad parenting, even the UN gets involved at some point!
