Why do we need to talk more about suicide prevention? - In conversation with Jennie Baird and Zip Nguyen

❓What should I do if I have suicidal thoughts?❓After someone commits suicide, what is it like for their loved ones?❓What can we all do to contribute to suicide prevention and postvention?Jennie lost her son, Henry, to suicide almost 10 years ago. He was a sophomore studying Art and Computer Science at Carnegie Mellon University. In Jennie’s words: “Henry was the funniest, most creative person I knew. He and I had shared professional interests and he worked as an intern at NVIDIA the summer before he died and planned to intern at Dropbox the following summer.” In this episode, our CQO Zip Nguyen and Jennie Baird (EVP and Managing Director in Digital News and Streaming at BBC Studios) will be going through a series of questions chatting about Jennie’s personal story and why we need to continue raising awareness for suicide prevention.
