Why do we spend emotionally?

Some say money is just transactional, but I couldn’t disagree more. Money has some serious emotions tied to it, and the way we feel can have a direct and indirect impact on the way we spend and our overall sense of financial wellbeing.

In this episode (and my first solo episode!) I gabber on about some of the different aspects of emotional spending, destigmatise spending to feel better, and offer some actionable tips on how to take control of your emotional spending. 

We also hear from some listeners and followers about their emotional spending experience, and hone the importance of identifying an unhealthy spend from a perfectly healthy one.
