Why do you do what you do with Greg Dempster & 3 reasons we struggle with Identity with Philip Miller

from Karl and Crew · host Moody Radio

Today, on Karl and Crew, we kicked off our weekly theme, “What If,” by focusing on the question, “What if you knew why you do what you do?” Philip Miller joined us to discuss identity in Christ, how we fall into “orphan-hearted” living, and why we often look to the wrong things for significance, security, and satisfaction. Philip is the Senior Pastor of The Moody Church in Chicago and can be heard on “The Moody Church Hour” and “Living Hope” radio programs. He began his ministry at Chuck Swindoll’s Stonebriar Community Church and now leads a vibrant congregation in the city. We then had Greg Dempster join us to discuss how past experiences form “governing ideas” that shape our lives, and how renewing our minds in Christ helps close the gap between what we believe about God and how we live. Greg is the Founder and Director of ChristLife Ministries and has served in full-time pastoral ministry for over two decades. He has been a senior leader and ministry director, helping equip believers to live out their faith with authenticity and freedom. We then turned to the phone lines to hear from our listeners. We asked the question, “ If your life story was made into a movie, what would the title be?” You can hear the highlights of today’s program on the Karl and Crew Showcast.
