Summary
Documentaries are a huge part of my past—both from a consumption standpoint and creation one as well. At the age of 15, I got to work on my first documentary. And from there I had the privilege of working on others, which informed my filmmaking knowledge. As a final product, documentaries are great because good or bad, you'll always learn something. This is why documentaries matter. They inform us. They preserve history. Do you watch them? Is so which ones? If not, why haven't you? Hit me up on social media and let me know (@PhilSvitek). Also, I'd love if you checked out my 5 minute short documentary about a mountain bookstore in Paris: https://youtu.be/0LNa2KFR4hY.
