Why does BAPTISM even matter?

Baptism is not what saves us—it’s not the cause of salvation, it’s the celebration of it. Think of it like a graduation ceremony: the ceremony doesn’t make you a graduate, but it publicly declares what has already taken place. In the same way, baptism is how we declare, celebrate, and identify with Jesus. It’s a powerful step of obedience and a visible way to say, “My life belongs to Him.” In this message, we’ll unpack what baptism means, why it matters, and why it’s worth celebrating. Whether you’ve been following Jesus for years, are just starting your faith journey, or are simply curious, this message will help you see baptism for what it truly is—a beautiful declaration of new life in Christ.
