Why Does Holiness Matter?

Holiness is at the very heart of God’s call to His people—yet for many of us, living a holy life feels like a constant struggle. The tension between our human desires and God’s calling is real, and it raises an important question: Why is holy living so difficult for you? In this live session of The Mobile Sanctuary, Pastor Phil Diaz invites the community into an open and honest conversation about the challenges of pursuing holiness in everyday life. With Scripture as our guide, we’ll face hard truths, share our experiences, and remind one another that God’s grace is more powerful than our weakness. Together, we’ll reflect on: -The Struggle Within – Understanding the conflict between the flesh and the Spirit (Galatians 5:16–17). -The Call to Be Set Apart – Exploring God’s invitation to holiness as found in 1 Peter 1:15–16. -The Power of Grace – Discovering how God equips us to live differently through the work of the Holy Spirit (Titus 2:11–12). This session is not about judgment but about honesty—creating space to ask tough questions, share burdens, and seek encouragement from both God’s Word and one another. This was recorded live as part of our continuing effort to make The Mobile Sanctuary a true online community of encouragement, growth, and truth. Join us here—on The Mobile Sanctuary.
