The church has failed to fulfill its duty in channeling the conviction of the Holy Spirit unto sinful man, to offer proper and painful salvation. In working in the Emergency Room for close to ten years, I have never once seen a patient who came in with an open wound smile as they were being stitched or stapled back together. In parallel, the church has offered bandaid solutions to the deep-seated spiritual wounds of humanity, and has failed to offer the staples and stitches that it deserves to bring perfect healing.
