Why does the stock market have such light volume

In this episode of Common Sense market analysis we  discuss the market from many different perspectives. We'll take a look at today's market in particular, will look at the market from a technical perspective using candlestick charts, and we’ll also discuss the market from an emotional and psychological perspective.Today's market was somewhat of a rodeo ride. We had a gap and crap to begin the day, we had a quick drop in the middle of the day, and then we had a rally into the end of the day.The volume across the market has been eerily light. We'll discuss this and how it relates to the overall Market.  Where are the institutional players?Amazon (AMZN)  Reported their earnings after the closing bell.
