Why Don't Kenyans Watch Kenyan Movies?

Have you ever watched a Kenyan Movie? What is your favourite one? While Kenya is not known for its film industry, there are have been several films that have been critically acclaimed. This week we had an interesting debate with Carol Kioko- a Kenyan filmmaker who leads the 48 Hour Film Project in Kenya- on why Kenyans don't watch Kenyan films. There is no data to back this up, but its definitely worth a conversation! What do you guys think?
