And do you have any advice on me? I'm so stuck on my particularities and I don't get started. It's just, I have all these ideas in my head and I don't get started. Who do you, whose opinions do you think you value the most?
Probably not parents. Have you ever had a real condo with them? I tried much about this thing. Just blocking it.
Not being accountable. Yes. Well then I think you, I actually believe that that's actually been a better spot. At the end of the day, a parent is delusional about it and it hurts too much.
It's not about judging them if they don't see it. It's about being empathetic and compassionate to her. Things don't forget she was parent-dipped. Yes.
You know, your grandparents exist. I see siblings as well. They all have the same issues. It makes sense.
So instead of judging her, be compassionate to her, which then will allow you to be a compassionate to yourself and will give you an opportunity to actually jump and do it. But the biggest thing is people, it's kind of like swimming or riding a bike or kissing a boy. It's scary and it's not. And then it's not, right?
I hope so. I hope you're right. I know I'm right. I know I'm right.
What's going to happen? She's going to say your failure and you're going to be crippled. And what? You're ready to support it in her.
What's going to change? It's a way for you to liberate. It's maybe for you to help her. Do it for her.
Do you value her? Do it for her? Do it for her? You know what I mean?
Yeah. Because I see a saying that her, like she's always holding back. Of course. Break the curse.

It's so funny how they're all different. I've never really gone deep on why I do that. Yes. It's fun.
Yeah, it was interesting. I think no one did it. You know what's funny? You know, even with V friends, you might sense it in Discord.
I have a very, it's so nice outside. Let's hang for a little bit. I have a very funny personality trait that I myself laugh at at my own self, which is I like being misunderstood and underestimated. I enjoy it.
I enjoy it. Most people hate it. Most people try to do the reverse. But with a five, right?
So many people, hello. So many people think it's silly or awkward, but it has such good meaning for me. It's the furthest thing from frivolous or silly. It made me the most important thing I do is do that.
But I kind of like not explaining it. I like it. It's kind of like with V friends. It's so challenging to run an NFP project in 2022.
I speak to a lot of founders of other projects and they're all really struggling mentally. Because the discords are so challenging. Everybody's so focused on the short-term price. A lot of mental health concerns I have for some of the top projects.
For me though, I like it. I like that people are challenging and funny. It makes me smile. What's that?
It's America. Why is that? Because you were in the top voice. I know.
I was very nervous Wednesday. Thank you, Doug. Thank you. I would never not be here.
Gary, can I just introduce you to our star, Daniel? Yes. Because of Daniel, we all came together and went to V1 as the French president. Yes.
And he organized this. Thank you, Dan. I remember. Thank you, brother.
Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. This is the biggest thing.
We did all the different. It made us connect. This is everything. This is like, we...
It's such a strong community already. This is everything. And what our... You know, again, this is why this last year is very challenging for me and funny for me.
This year is so about money. Everyone's so caught up in the money. Like, when the market exploded in the summer last year, I was very concerned. Because I knew I very much know what money does.
So I knew that it was going to be a challenging kind of couple of years, because to your point, this is what Be Friends is about. And for real, and here's why. People gather for many reasons. I have a community with my fellow jet bands, right?
We go and we watch our team out of the tell Europe because of football, the real football, right? You know, they're such a sense of community. But that's silly. At the end of the day, sports is escapism, it's enjoyment.
But what we're doing is real life. This is real life. Like how you see the world and how you treat people. Like everything I do is intentional.
Everything I do. I could have called this project. Hey, when you went to the store? No, I want to land this and then please jump in.
We couldn't mean this anything. We couldn't call it anything. The Friends part was the most important part for me. I knew that if I did this well, that I could scale what I was already accomplishing with Gary Vee at a much bigger level.
And so the reason I wanted to be here so badly tonight for this is because I know you guys are building something I see. And I also watch a lot more than everybody thinks. So I'm in all the sub-chats I watch. And so I'm really happy to be here and I'm really happy you guys are doing this for each other.
Of course. What do you guys see, brother? So when we heard you lost your voice and it was like, yeah, we wouldn't know that you would come. So I think everyone said that it would come.
It wasn't like when we heard news that you would come, a lot of people were like, okay, I'm coming to go down too. Yeah, so we became a big group. But now when we heard like, oh, he might not come, everyone said, like, anyway. Right.
Well, that's the best part, right? Like that's kind of also, it's funny you say that story because that's how we think about this whole thing. Like, oh, you know, especially the most cynical V friends in the discord. You know, it's not big with the other NFT projects.
It's just about here. And people understand it takes time. How many of you knew each other 18 months ago? Not one.
You understand? That's just it. People get it. It takes time.
So, you know, to me, of course you guys were going to come. I'm very flattered. I can't wait to sign and selfies and stories. I'm so excited.
I love it. But V friends is so much bigger than about me. Do you know why I call on such a special town for V friends? No.
I love it. I love it. I saw that photo. 23rd of May.
Yeah, there was like 710 of you. How many were there? Oh, before that one. Yeah.
So, there was still some left on the floor. Some people that we met here. And one of the guys is here too. Oh, it's awesome.
And now we are the biggest, I think, beyond official V friends events. So, this is like for us. It's so nice. I'm so happy to be here with you.
Really. I couldn't wait to do that.
